In the third game of the B championship series the monkeys jumped ahead and never looked back. The monkeys had a 15-1 lead and couldn't push the winning run across in the 5th to end the game early. J&J stayed tough as they did during the whole series to make it a game in the last inning but it wasn't enough as the monkeys won 16-9. Hats off to J&J for some great softball I've never seen so many runs scored with 2 outs in the inning (Every inning.) Good luck next year fellas.

Thanks to everyone else in B this year that helped make this year so much fun and good luck to all the teams next year.

I think everyone at some point should thank Ken for all the work he does for the league and all the sh!t he puts up with on here. There needs to be less crying and a little more ball playing.

Congrats to the Monkeys for your win!!!!! Good luck next year in "A"

J&J - great run again for the third year in a row!!!!!

Yo Boomer!!!! We did it baby! What a year. First, i'd like to congradulate all the Monkeys! This was a special time for us fellas, somethin that we'll remember forever. I hope there are more to come.

To the guys from J & J, enough cant be said about the toughness you guys bring to the field. No lead was safe. The two best teams played for that championship fellas, nicely done.

Finally, a couple special thank yous. To Charlie G., a true leader, great competitor, and a vital piece to a championship run! Thanks Mr. G. Of course Mrs G., thank you for the scrapbook, your support, and puttin up with those maniacs! To the guys from Pizza Palace, we didnt forget!! Great guys, lotta class, we'll be thinkin of ya while takin some licks up in A Div! Again, thanks for the dogs but most importanly the laughs. To all of those who supported the Monkeys, watched and pondered why this is so important to us, this is your victory also, enjoy it!! Steve Renzullo, just take the Giants shirt and shut up!! Thanks buddy, hope you enjoyed it! To my Father, I love you, glad ya made it, it meant the world. Brass Monkeys....CHAMPS!!

I lift my morning Coffee to my favorite team J & J and the entire team. To say both teams were the best of class is very true. Good luck to all next season and my new favorite team J & J, and my new favorite player Mr. Basehitter.

So much for the old favorite players and old favorite teams of the past. It is time for some retirements and sipping Coffee down here at the Sullivan center where the only skill needed is listening and drinking Coffee.

Haha thanks for bustin my ballz guys!! Seriously though, great year, i hate winter, cant wait to get it goin again next season!

WOW, what a 2008 softball year, ups and downs a side...to every team in "B" my hats off to you all.......We have had alot of fun, no matter the out come of the game, and yes we ALL get pissed evey now and then BUT we all have to remember that it is just a game, and if you can go home with out any pain, it all good.....To the monkeys, THANK YOU all for a great series...best of luck in "A"....To my team, thank you all from the bottom of my hart for a year well done, my wife and i thank you for the gift, and i will see you all during the winter or in winsted...and to ken my thanks for another year past and many more to come...GREAT JOB...
