Towne Tavern: TEAM SURVIVOR improved their record to 3-1 by beating the Brooker Belles 14-4 last night. Despite some REALLY BAD calls from the ump for Towne Tavern.
Dee Dee (Double D) had a triple, Nikki had a double with a good slide into second. Ashley hit the ball awesome...you go girl!! EVERYONE for Towne Tavern hit the ball with authority. Sara got two outs in one inning....LOL
On offense Jen Jen #10 had some really great scoops at first. MaryAnn great catches at second. Cherly played a great first half at second, Eileen and Nikki also played well in the infield. Not too much action in the outfield but when there was the outfield did a great job, especially Patty.
Some very sad news for our team...Dee Dee a GREAT friend, outfielder and hitter is leaving us..this was her last game. She and her family are moving to New York.
You are going to be missed SOOO much. We all love you bud. Good luck to you and your family.
