Friendship Baptist Church absolutely came out to play tonight, winning 19-8 to sweep Towne Tavern right out of the playoffs. We scored 10 runs in our first at bats, with Pitcher Barry Tapley basically shutting down their bats, we move on to face the Cops in the finals on Thursday.

First thing first,That umpire was absolutely horrible! Tavano and others should realize that I have been playing in this league for over 14 years. The batters box is there so that people like mohawk boy dosen't stand in the on deck circle!!! I have no problem with that as long as the ump extends the strike zone to accomadate the player standing 4 feet off the plate! Dont get me wrong I know that what I said was wrong but the ump had no right to threaten me with the cops before any racial comment was made. In closing as for my so called teammate who has now put a divide between a family because I will never speak to him again, I might agree with them if I made the biggest 2 errors of the game that let quality get back into the game. Maybe Doogie should work on hitting and fielding rather then writing on the computer!!! Cerch I really hope you relize what you said it reminds me of your hitting which is weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps ~ mohawk boy happens to play for a team that doesn't look for excuses....and is in the finals......here's to year 15.........QUALITY LAWN!!!...........

You can be out of the box aslong as your in the box when you make contact. And you had no right what so ever saying what you said to the ump. You started with the racial stuff right when the game was over. I heard every word you said. Grow up a little man. Seriously!

First thing first, all i was saying on the other thread was that i'm sick of people on our team acting like a-holes to the ump, do you realize that our last six games of the year some one had it out with the ump, maybe that's why we didn't get the calls, i was just simply sticking up for our team as a whole, sorry....... as far as me with my two errors, those were two hard line drive shots that were tailing away from me while i was on full out sprint and both times it hit the palm of my glove and popped out anybody who plays the outfield will tell ya it is the toughest fly ball to catch,9 times out of 10 i make those plays and you know it!!!!!!! but i'll take the blame because it's not an excuse, before that game how many errors did i make this year? 1 or 2, as far as my hitting goes when was the last time i swung a bat before this year, 5 years ago , look in the book, the last 12 games i've had 2 hits or more, so to say my hitting is weak that's your opinion, but what i know is your attitude is weak!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be playing next year somewhere's else, break up a family over a softball game, insane if you ask me, also in the other thread when i said "changes", i meant in "attitude" not "personnel"!!!! I don't think errors helped quality back in the game, i think it was clutch hitting. And i don't think i played all that bad for not catching a flyball or even hitting a ball in 5 years, but then again who am i to judge, you are the best softball player i have ever seen, so i probably looked bad playing next to you!!!!!!!!!!!
All i am saying is STOP ARGUING WITH THE UMP, and you come back with this.
