"well" game 1 in the finals is over and the match up we all wanted was as good as it gets. the labsters struck right on que scoring in all but the 5th. the labsters had the diggers in a hole until the 4th when we shifted into high gear not sparing any "fuel" scoring 6 to bring the game within 2 8-6, but in the 5th the diggers came right back scoring 8 to take the lead and 2 more to end the game. johnny "balls" thew for another solid game and the whole j&j line-up is still red hot with every one hitting again to help in the win. spec thanks goes to mike m, tom w for being red hot all season with the bats and thanks most of all to steve m for leaving a works sight in R.I. to make every game. should be another thriller on friday!!!

Well as I drink my morning Coffee and drip a small tear for my favorite team TV Lab, I have to wonder how Mr. Paul is doing after being lit up like a rocket on the space shuttle last night. Bottom line is that when it comes to the playoffs its all about pitching and I have always said that all season. I do not want the excuse that they are just on fire now, they are killing the ball as that is a cop out. Good pitching stops good hitting.
Well Friday night we will see if Mr. Paul can regain his form of this past season or will he burn out like a sparkler on the fourth of July, and go the way of the last several TV Lab teams and not win in the playoffs.
So Mr. Paul have a double espresso before Fridays game and come out strong so I have somewhere to go next week, other than the Sullivan Center.

We never put together a big inning hitting plus 2 bad defensive innings ...especially that one play.....something like 9 to 4 to 2 to 4 to 5 to 2....Ugly....
Labsters, we are down but not out. This team has not lost 2 in a row all season, and I expect nothing less than a win on Friday night. We'll worry about Monday on Monday. There is no reason to panic. Play your regular game. J&J has not won anything yet! We need to step up the hitting and defense. The pitching WILL be better...in short, we need to excute better. Show up Friday and be ready for battle. We will be tested, but we've been tested before. Come to win, or don't come at all!
