CONGRATS TO THE MEATMEN FOR WINNING WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY COMPETITIVE SERIES. GOOD LUCK. SHOULD BE ANOTHER FUN SERIES TO WATCH AGAINST THE LAWNMEN.
Good series B&T, hopefully we'll be able to keep the ball rolling against the Lawnmen.
Way to hang in there Carbones and take four out of five this season from talented guys who early in the season had told all others they were on a different level than the rest and not to bother showing up.
Now it's on to the "Finals" against "The BEST TEAM EVER TO PLAY D DIVISION" softball in torrington. Oh no that's right that was Westside. Whatever happened to them anyway? How could the "Best Team Ever" not have won the regular season or be in the playoff finals? HHHmmm!
Oh well anyhow, I guess it's left to the "Old Men" and a classy bunch of young guys to slug it out the best we can in the finals.
Best of luck to both.
Perhaps there is some value afterall to keeping quiet and letting your play do the talking. Not to mention the benefit to playing together for 30 years even if you are all old.
Sometimes the most talented individuals need some time to become a successful TEAM and sometimes a group of ordinary guys who have learned to play as a team can be pretty successful.
Just a thought!!
HHHmmm!

....congrats to BNT on a hard fought season, and congrats to the Meatmen for a well played series
...look forward to seeing you guys and having some fun playing in a series the way it's meant to be played.....the FUN (and later drunk)way!
