In an exciting finish, Local 442 defeated Friendship Baptist Church 16-15 in 8 innings to win the E Division championship. It was a back-and-forth battle as Friendship led 6-0 after the 2nd. But the cops came back to take a 12-8 lead going to the 7th. FBC didn't give up as they tied the game with 4 in the top of the 7th to force extra innings (2 of the runs coming with 2 outs). The "men of God" then put 3 up in the top of the 8th to take a 15-12 lead. But the resilient police would not be denied as they came back with 4 runs in the bottom of the inning to win the series. Friendship's sloppy defense was a big factor, but it was a great series once again and Local 442 came through in the clutch when they had to.
Great work by the boys in blue as they earn their 2nd straight division title, while it's heartbreak once again for Friendship.

I was at the game and it was another exciting game 3 finish in the playoffs and what a way to end the Season! Both teams played their hearts out last night.
