RULES and The USER AGREEMENT

By registering and using The Torrington Softball Forums, you agree to the following:

Members have posting privileges, but this is not an entitlement. Members of the Torrington Softball Forum must act in a common sense civil manner towards members, moderators and administrators of the site. Any member can have their posting privilege suspended or removed.

Depending on the nature of the violation, the administrators of this site at their sole discretion may suspend or terminate a member’s account.

There are no political or religious discussions allowed anywhere on the board, including in signatures. This is not a political or religious oriented discussion forum.

Posting privileges will be suspended or removed completely if a moderator or administrators determines that your post:

* Contains content that harasses, belittles, humiliates, threatens or causes embarrassment to a fellow member; vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images; bigoted, hateful or racially/sexually offensive statements; has content that advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them; unauthorized copyrighted material; language that defames, abuses or threatens others; advertising or any form of commercial solicitation; and/or material that does not pertain to the room's given topic.

* Contains content that is spam (multiple copies in one area or the same communication in multiple areas)

We cannot allow any posts that border on the issues of libel and defamation. If you don’t like a person, player, umpire or business you can state, "I was not satisfied with the outcome etc". We will NO LONGER allow bashing to be posted!

Anyone can come on a discussion site and ruin someone's reputation without any proof that what they are saying is accurate. There will be people who don't like this rule, but it will be strictly enforced. You may be subject to suspension or banning if you post in violation of this rule.

Statements that violate the above terms will be deleted from postings upon discovery.

Multiple registrations under different user names: Members are only allowed to register with one user name and account.

The administrators reserve the right to suspend or ban a person's ability to post on this website based on other circumstances that might arise, even if such circumstances are not listed above.

Torringtonsoftball.com reserves the right to change, enforce, any or all other parts of this User Agreement at its sole discretion and without notice, including but not limited to implementing Rules of Conduct, Terms of Service and/or other measures.

By registering with the Torringtonsoftball.com Forum, users agree that any post the moderators consider inappropriate may be removed at the moderator’s sole discretion.

Torringtonsoftball.com also has the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke board privileges at any time without notice to anyone without giving reason for said ban.

Profanity
We encourage users of all age groups and beliefs, so please refrain from using offensive language. What’s acceptable? If it’s a word you hear on primetime network TV, it’s probably acceptable. Replacing a few letters with an asterisk or other symbols is not allowed. We encourage users of all age groups and beliefs so please keep any images in the PG-13 category or they will be deleted, and the user warned.

Accurate Registration Information
When you register on the message board, everything you submit must be accurate, including your name, email and any other data you are requested to provide. Emails that registered member’s supply must be a working valid email. Emails can and will be checked for verification. If any of the information is found to be incorrect, your account will be deleted without warning.

Forum Content and Rights - Very Important
All postings, pictures, words, data, accounts and private messages written and posted on Torringtonsoftball.com become the property of Torringtonsoftball.com and Torringtonsoftball.com can and will take ownership of the information at anytime and can publish and or release said information for public knowledge or can delete or destroy data at will without the consent of registered members and or guests. All the above said data can be monitored by the ownership of Torringtonsoftball.com where all judgments on such matters are final.

The Torrington Softball Forums are a web-based community provided by Torringtonsoftball.com to encourage interaction between players, sponsors, city officials and everyone that has interest in the Torrington Softball League.

In this peer-to-peer environment, forum users are encouraged to answer questions, share experiences and give advice to their fellow members to help better the league and to create and sustain a friendly place where everyone feels welcome.
